New Years Day … *hurray* ^_^

I was looking through the internet to get some inspiration for a New Years outfit. I saw lots of Youtube New Years make up tutorials. Most girls used metallic colors and by far the most chosen one was silver. So silver was definitely not my choice for New Years. So I was debating on gold or bronze. My choice felt on gold because gold kinda reminds of fireworks, like sparklers – glitter & glamour.

My perfect dress would be the one Beyoncé is wearing. I love the sequence of gold. It gives an illusion of a small silhouette and the long sleeves are just completing the dress because where I live it is pretty cold.

Would you like some tea?

I didn’t really know what to wear to see my grandparents.

Especially in the holidays it’s nice to wear something festive and chic. I thought a blouse is "the" classic piece to wear for this occasion plus the blouse has some nice detail – love the ruffles and stitched in waist. I didn’t really wanted to go for the “black & white” office look so I added a bit of color with a simple toffee brown cardigan. I love the 2 flower on top of the cardigan which reminded me instantly of some flower earring that I have.

I can’t believe the year 2010 is over in 2 days – time flies and there is so much more that I want to blog about. I love writing blogs and show my ideas and share my thoughts. I love being a part of the “blog-community"!

Winter Accessory

I found this adorable grey Wool –Vest at Target. It is very warm and a nice accessory for most winter outfits. I love affordable clothes and want to share my catch with you. I don’t remember the exact price but I would say it was around 15$. I saw similar vests at H&M and Zara for much more money.



Merry Christmas ...
I hope everyone had a joyful christmas. On Christmas Eve I was wearing some dark jeans, a colored shirt and red nails.

Today I have an Outfit of the day. It’s very basic, but it has a little edge to it.

We all know we don’t dress the same style every day. Some days I like it simple with a little twist other days I like it edgy with a statement.

Shoes: UGG’s

 Scarf: H&M

For accessories I am wearing earrings from Express and my make up is a simple nude smokey eye.

Winter Wonderland

Finally it is the time of the year where you can dress in cozy pullovers, drink hot coco/tea and pull off some nice dark colors to wear without looking gothic. After summer & fall its time for some really nice dark colors, my favorites right now are greys! They are easy to match other colors and there are plenty different shades.

Like my new Ceramic Nail Lacquer from “Artdeco” in the color 134…. it’s this perfect metallic looking dark grey which has a soft shimmer to it when it hits the light.

By the way there will be a new dark metallic Nail Polish from Chanel. Coming out in January! I can't wait.

Most worn shoes at the moment are my very much loved black UGG Boots the best invention for winter J and of course my grey UGG sneakers (“Evera”). The boots are so versatile you can wear them with some nice dark jeggins or skinny jeans or even wear a cute skirt with some wool tights. They are comfortable and warm to walk in them all day through the snow.

One tip: Before you go out to hit the snow you should definitely spray them with a water & stain repellent. It provides effective protection from rain, snow, dirt and stains on your boots. To keep them nice looking all winter long!

It's so exciting for me, finally I got my own blog. I always thought of writing blogs - its like an open journal... I can share thoughts, situations and ideas with other lovely people, like you!... ja you who is reading my blog right now - tho I dont think there are to many... but all it matters is that I can do what I wanted to do for a very long time...
